PHYLLANTHUS NIRURI (Chanca Piedra) - Has been used in Ayurveda for problems of the stomach, genitourinary system, liver, kidney, and spleen, and to treat chronic fever.  Amazonian tribes of Brazil historically used Phyllanthus Niruri to treat kidney stones and gallstones, naming it Chanca Piedra, the Spanish term for "stonebreaker." DANDELION ROOT - Dandelion contains chemicals that may increase urine production and decrease swelling (inflammation).  Dandelion is used for loss of appetite, upset stomach, intestinal gas, gallstones, joint pain, muscle aches, eczema, and bruises. Dandelion is also used to increase urine production and as a laxative to increase bowel movements. It is also used as skin toner, blood tonic, and digestive tonic. REF:

CELERY SEED EXTRACT - Celery seed has been used as medicine for thousands of years in the Eastern world. During ancient times, Indian Ayurvedic medicine used celery seed to treat colds, flu, water retention, poor digestion, different types of arthritis, and certain diseases of the liver and spleen.  Today, celery seed is used mostly as a diuretic, meaning it helps your body eliminate water by increasing urine output.  REF:

GINGER - Ginger is a plant with leafy stems and yellowish green flowers. The ginger spice comes from the roots of the plant. Ginger is native to warmer parts of Asia, such as China, Japan, and India, but now is grown in parts of South American and Africa. It is also now grown in the Middle East to use as medicine and with food.  Ginger contains chemicals that may reduce nausea and inflammation. Researchers believe the chemicals work primarily in the stomach and intestines, but they may also work in the brain and nervous system to control nausea.  REF:

CRANBERRY EXTRACT - Cranberry is a type of evergreen shrub that grows in wet areas, such as bogs or wetlands. Cranberry is native to northeastern and northcentral parts of the United States. The shrub has small, dark green leaves, pink flowers, and dark red fruit that are egg-shaped. Cranberry is used for kidney stones, neurogenic bladder, to deodorize urine in people with difficulty controlling urination, to prevent urine catheters from becoming blocked, and to heal skin around surgical openings in the stomach that are used to eliminate urine. Some people use cranberry to increase urine flow, kill germs, and reduce fever.  REF:

UVA URSI - is used primarily for urinary tract disorders, including infections of the kidney, bladder, and urethra; swelling (inflammation) of the urinary tract; increased urination; painful urination; and urine that contains excess uric acid or other acids. Uva ursi is also used for constipation and a lung condition called bronchitis.  REF:

JUNIPER BERRY POWDER - Juniper is used for digestion problems including upset stomach, intestinal gas (flatulence), heartburn, bloating, and loss of appetite, as well as gastrointestinal (GI) infections and intestinal worms. CINNAMON BARK POWDER - Cinnamon is best known as a spice, sprinkled on toast and lattes. But extracts from the bark of the cinnamon tree have also been used traditionally as medicine throughout the world.  Lab studies have found that cinnamon may reduce inflammation, have antioxidant effects, and fight bacteria.  REF:

HYDRANGEA EXTRACT - Hydrangea is used for urinary tract problems such as infections of the bladder, urethra and prostate; enlarged prostate; and kidney stones. It is also used for hay fever.  REF:

LICORICE ROOT - Soothes the stomach and gastrointestinal issues, relieves inflammation, boosts the immune system, and much more.

STINGING NETTLE (Urtica Dioica) - High in vitamins and minerals, this herb is also a cleaner and diuretic which can help filter out extra fluids in the kidneys. Effective for pain relief and inflammation as well as boosting immunity.

MARSHMALLOW ROOT - Helps flush kidney stones, anti-inflammatory, etc.

SLIPPERY ELM - Helps with inflammation and irritation of urinary tract and digestion. Helpful as assistant/aid to other herbs in kidney formula.
